Sanskriti Summer Camp 2015 will include activities such as yoga, dance, music, cooking, and workshops (based on weekly themes. Themes from previous years were Famous Indian personalities, life in Indian cities verses villages, festivals etc.)

This years themes: Indian landscapes & wild life , Indian architecture & monuments

In music, the camper's learn a fun Hindi song each week which is performed for parents on Friday evening. Similarly in dance, a Bollywood song dance is choreographed by a Sanskriti volunteer and performed by the kids on Friday.

Additionally the campers enjoy S.T.E.M. activities, arts & crafts and Desi sports like kabbaddi, kho-kno, cricket, badminton etc.  We even had a professional table tennis player who represented India in common-wealth games stop by to impress the kids one year.  In cooking session, a kid-friendly yet healthy item is cooked by the kids themselves. This is a lot of fun for them.

We accept limited number of kids each year since we want to give individual attention to our campers. The campers are divided in two age appropriate groups for most of the activities. The camp is managed by a professional camp director with several years experience in managing such camps along with an assistant. A Sanskriti volunteer is present most of the day along with the above two individuals mentioned.

You can email sanskriticamp@gmail.com if you have specific questions.

Refund/ cancellation policy:

100% money back if cancelled before July 31st

50% back after that until the start of the camp.

After the camp starts, 25% refunded.

Families can keep their child's spot for the following year as an alternative to cancellation.
