Dakshin Mahotsav 2026 returns on May 2nd, marking its 10th Anniversary 

Join us for an evening of mesmerizing dance, soulful music, and authentic South Indian cuisine as we celebrate ten wonderful years of culture, community, and creativity.

Theme for 2026:  'Pancha Bhootha' (The Cosmic Five Elements)

The 5 fundamental elements of nature in Indian philosophy: Earth • Water • Fire • Air • Space

Dance groups, musicians, and creative performers are invited to interpret these elements through their art forms, drawing from classical, folk, or contemporary traditions of South India and exploring the spirit, symbolism, or stories connected to them.

We also welcome professional schools and distinguished artists from New Jersey and beyond. With a full lineup and limited performance slots, interested groups are encouraged to email us for more information.
