The concept of Raag is the greatest gift to Indian music. It is the high point of the rich Indian musical tradition. Though art changes with time, the ‘Raag’ continues to shine with its full glory in today’s Indian music. Please join us for an evening of interactive, ‘voice-on’ session with well-known musician and musicologist Dr. Mohan Deshpande. Let us explore the intricacy, appreciation, beauty, joy, utility and connectivity of Raag to the genres of Indian music and beyond. Dr. Mohan Deshpande hails from a musical family and is the disciple and son of Mahamahopadhyay Pandit S. B. Deshpande.
