Table Tennis Tournament

Dates for tournament: April 11th and 12th.

(Specific timing of games will be decided by organizers depending on number of players registered for the tournament)

Last day to register for the tournament: April 5th

Charge:

Singles matches: Member $10 or non-member $20

Doubles matches: Member $10 or non-member $20

Funds collected from registration will be used to award prizes to 1st and 2nd place winners in both formats. Also, snacks and non-alcohol drinks will be served before and after the games.

Tentative Tournament Format: Qualifying round (singles and doubles). Every participant plays maximum of 3 games

Quarterfinals:

Player with seed #1 will play against seed #8 Player with seed #2 will play against seed #7 Player with seed #3 will play against seed #6 Player with seed #4 will play against seed #5

Semi-finals:

Set of maximum 3 games to be played between the winners of quarterfinals

Player with 2 wins, wins. 3rd game will be played only if required

Semifinal #1: Player with highest seed (assigned from qualifying round) remaining from results of quarterfinals will play against the lowest seed remaining from results of quarterfinals

Semifinal #2: Between the two remaining player

Finals:

Set of maximum 5 games to be played between the winners of semifinals

Player with 3 wins, wins. 4th and 5th games will be played only if required
